Deep within the captivating rolling hills, dwelt a boy named Shepherd. His being was pure, simple yet virtuous. His only responsibility was mainly to care for his flock of ewes.

Frustrated and alone, the boy struggled against the wolf but managed to rescue only few of his sheep. Devastated, he went back to the town only to receive a scolding on honesty and the repercussions of false alarms.

The story of this shepherd boy has been handed down generations as a mediaeval parable to teaching the importance of honesty, the consequences of lying and the risks of false alarms. Moreover, it stresses how trust once lost, is tough to earn back. It's a story as pertinent today as it was in the past.
